Doodling

I've been trying to make a conscious effort lately to not get overrun in digital art. It's easy to do sat at a computer 8 hours a day so when I've had a spare half hour or so I've hit the sketchbook! Below are some examples. Nothing has been drawn too careful as I'm sure one can tell, but I guess thats the whole point.

What I have been doing!

Quite literally have done nothing on this blog for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaages. Not necessarily through lack of work/creativity/effort but mostly because I post on Instagram and DeviantArt (albeit only recently returned to DevArt) and I think this blog has taken a backseat.

I will however make it my mission to share my work equally across all platforms! I have also purchased www.georgeevans.co.uk so will probably end up posting some web related material soon.

Below is what I have been doing in my absence. Mostly been brushing up on my illustration skills...

I've found this is to be an interesting study of gradients at the moment. I've been tempted to create more complicated vectors but wondered whether the key is keeping it simple. I've decided to post the remainder of the posters as they were completed within quick succession of one another.

I'm currently working on some other little experimental stuff away from this kind of thing but I can definitely say it's been nice simply creating for the sake of being creative!
